Performance & Talent Management
An annual review isn't feedback. Usually it's a form.
Designing and introducing systems for performance, development and succession, and supporting managers in using them. The result is working review and talent processes with documented outcomes.
Usual
What you often get
An appraisal form with lots of criteria, filled in once a year and filed away. Goals are set in January and rediscovered in December. How good someone really is often only becomes clear when their resignation is on the desk.
IntoOps
What you get from us
A few criteria that fit the role, and conversations that happen more than once a year. Managers get guides and practice, not just a new form.
Whatever comes out of the conversations feeds into development and pay. Otherwise it stays on paper.
Service components
5 components. Each one available on its own.
-
Review cycles, criteria and forms.
-
Individual goals and regular feedback conversations.
-
Expected competencies and development paths per role.
-
Identifying talent and planning succession for key roles.
-
Engagement surveys and measures against unwanted turnover.
What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.
- A review process with criteria per role, fixed dates and a short form.
- Conversation guides for goal, feedback and development talks, which managers have practised.
- Career paths per role family, showing what's expected for the next step.
- A succession overview for key roles: who could take over and what's still missing.
- An employee survey with analysis and agreed actions per team.
When you need this. And how you'll know.
- Annual reviews are a tedious duty, and nobody knows what happens afterwards.
- Good people resign, and only the exit interview tells you what was missing.
- Promotions depend on who speaks up loudest, not on clear criteria.
- Key roles have no cover, and a single resignation would hit operations.
- New managers are expected to assess and develop people but have never learnt how.
Rarely alone. Never bundled.
Performance & Talent Management often works together with these services. We'll tell you honestly when a combination makes sense, and when it doesn't.

You don't need a whole initiative to get Performance & Talent Management. These examples show where the service is often needed.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do reviews need a rating scale?
Not necessarily. Some teams do better with regular conversations and clear expectations than with scales.
If bonuses or promotions depend on the review, you need criteria people can follow. We work out what fits before building a form.
Do you run the employee survey too?
Yes. We develop the questions, analyse the answers anonymously and present the results per team.
What matters is the next step: each team agrees on concrete actions, and we follow up on whether they're implemented.
Is succession planning a good place to start?
Yes, and often the most urgent part when a key person is leaving soon. Criteria and development paths can follow later.
Does this work without an HR department?
Yes. Then managers carry the process, and that's exactly what we prepare them for. We support the first rounds and hand over with guides and a fixed calendar.
Anyone who needs more practice gets coaching through training & development.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
