Lacking capacity

Not every gap needs a hire. Some need a brief.

Handing over defined work for a period or permanently: management roles, sales, service, back office, accounting or IT operations.

The situation

“The work is piling up and we can't hire fast enough.”

The job ad has been out for months, and the work won't wait. Quotes pile up, enquiries get answered late, and the month-end close keeps slipping.

Your team steps in, for a while. Then the next person drops out, or a big order comes in. And the question is no longer whether something gets left undone, but what.

Where it often goes wrong.

  1. The do-it-all job profile

  2. Handing over without clear limits

  3. The knowledge walks out

  4. Handing over the core first

  5. Overtime as a permanent fix

Which disciplines work together here.

You decide the scope.

You can hand over a single task for an interim period, such as accounts payable until the role is filled. Or a whole area for good, from the service desk to the back office.

Scope, result and end are set out in the contract beforehand. We steer the work, you make the decisions.

Who steers, who decides

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do we direct your experts ourselves?

No, and that's deliberate. You hand over clearly defined work, and we steer the experts who do it. The basis is a service or work contract with a fixed scope.

We don't hire out staff. Your point of contact with us agrees priorities with you, reports results and answers questions.

Are we tied in for a long time?

Only if you want to be. You can hand over work until a position is filled, or for good. How and when an engagement ends is agreed before it starts.

Can we still hire for the role ourselves later?

Yes, that's how we set it up. We document processes from day one, the accounts belong to you, and it ends with an orderly handover.

If you like, our recruiting helps with the search itself.

Can this happen at short notice?

Usually faster than filling the position, because there's no notice period to wait out. The exact pace depends on the handover. How well is the work described, and what access is needed?

After the free Initiative Check, you'll know whether and how fast we can take over.

Do you take on small tasks too?

Yes, as long as they're clearly defined. Even a small recurring job can be handed over, for example master data upkeep or a shared inbox.

What matters isn't size but that scope and result are fixed beforehand.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
