Improving the online presence
A relaunch changes the look. Rarely the results.
Making website, brand and online channels work: findable, clear, fast and measurable, with content that leads to enquiries.
The situation
“Our website doesn't bring us any customers.”
The website looks decent, and everything's there: services, team, contact form. It's just that hardly any enquiries come through it.
Nobody can prove why. Tracking counts page views, but not enquiries. The agency blames the technology, IT blames the copy.
And sooner or later someone suggests simply starting over.
Where it often goes wrong.
-
Design first, content last
The relaunch starts with colours and layout, and the copy comes at the very end. The result is a pretty shell that doesn't explain why an enquiry is worth it.
-
About us instead of for them
The pages talk about history, values and team. Anyone arriving with a specific problem finds no answer and ends up with a competitor.
-
The brake nobody sees
Slow pages, glitches on smartphones, a form that sticks: weaknesses like these rarely get noticed internally. Visitors drop off anyway.
-
Many channels, no plan
Social media, newsletter, ads: everything runs a bit, nothing properly. Without a clear role for each channel, budget spreads thin and none of them brings measurable enquiries.
Which disciplines work together here.
2 of 13 disciplines, one team, one point of contact. Every service has a clear role, and you decide which ones we take on.

You decide the scope.
It usually begins with an audit of technology, content and tracking, with a ranked list of what comes first. Individual pages, clean tracking or a campaign often follow. A complete rebuild only tops the list when there's really no other way.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do we need a completely new website?
Often not. Better copy, a clearer path to an enquiry and faster pages frequently achieve more than a rebuild. The audit shows this before you spend money.
If the system is outdated or hard to maintain, we recommend rebuilding. But with the content first.
Will we see quickly whether things improve?
Partly. A shorter form or a faster page soon shows up in the figures. Visibility in search engines grows more slowly.
That's why we set up tracking first. Otherwise nobody can see what works.
Do we have to write the copy ourselves?
No. We write it, based on conversations with you, your sales team and ideally customers too.
We still need your expertise: for approvals and to make sure every statement is accurate.
Can we maintain the website ourselves afterwards?
Yes, that's the aim. We set up the system so your team can change text and pages without coding skills, and we train them to do it.
Access, domain and data are in your name. We only take on maintenance and updates if you want us to.
Could the problem lie somewhere other than the website?
That happens. Sometimes the offer doesn't fit the target group, or enquiries get lost in sales. We'll raise it, even if it means no website project.
If what's mainly missing is new contacts, winning new customers tackles the right problem.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
