Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Plenty of dashboards get built. Few get used.
Defining KPIs, building dashboards and reports in BI tools and analysing data for concrete questions. The result is consistent KPIs and dashboards in use and documented analysis results.
Usual
What you often get
A dashboard for every department, packed with figures and with no question behind it. What got built is what the tool can do, not what anyone wants to know. A few weeks later, nobody opens the link any more.
IntoOps
What you get from us
We build dashboards backwards: from the decision someone makes every Monday to the figure it needs. Each KPI is defined once and applies to everyone. Our controlling team works from the same definitions, so dashboard and monthly report show the same numbers.
Service components
4 components. Each one available on its own.
-
Consistent definitions and targets for company KPIs.
-
Automated reports and dashboards in BI tools.
-
Ad-hoc and in-depth analyses for business questions.
-
Enabling teams to build their own reports safely.
What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.
- A KPI framework with definition, source and a named owner for each KPI.
- Dashboards for fixed questions that update automatically.
- A documented analysis of a specific question, with data, method and result.
- A permissions concept for who sees which reports and data.
- Usage statistics showing which dashboards are needed and which aren't.
When you need this. And how you'll know.
- You have a specific question, such as why margins are falling, and no solid answer.
- There are dashboards, but nobody makes decisions based on them.
- Analyses take so long that the decision has already been made.
- Sales and controlling argue about numbers instead of talking about actions.
- Management asks for the same figures every week, and every time the search starts again.
Rarely alone. Never bundled.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence often works together with these services. We'll tell you honestly when a combination makes sense, and when it doesn't.
Shows up in these initiatives.
You don't need a whole initiative to get Data Analytics & Business Intelligence. These examples show where the service is often needed.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do you also do one-off analyses without a dashboard?
Yes. An analysis is a component in its own right, for example on margins, churn or stock levels. You get a documented result with method and recommendation, not a subscription.
Is our data good enough for BI?
Not always. We fix minor issues within the project. If there's no reliable foundation, we build one first with data engineering.
A beautiful dashboard with wrong numbers helps nobody.
Can our teams build their own reports afterwards?
Yes, that's what self-service BI is for. We set up verified data sources, train the teams and agree rules. That way not every department builds its own version of the same KPI again.
Does tracking for the website and campaigns belong to this?
Partly. Data from the website and campaigns feeds into the KPI framework. The tracking itself is set up by marketing analytics & tracking, aligned with the same KPIs.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
