Industrialisation & Manufacturing Transfer
The prototype works. Now the real work begins.
Adapting the design for efficient manufacturing, planning processes and tooling and accompanying the ramp-up with manufacturing partners. The result is a product in series production with complete handover documentation.
Usual
What you often get
Engineering hands over drawings, the manufacturer sends back questions. Tools get changed, samples rejected, dates pushed back. Everyone is right, and nobody owns the transition.
IntoOps
What you get from us
One team that knows the design and speaks the language of the shop floor. We adapt parts for series production and manage sampling and approvals. Production runs at manufacturers in our network or at your existing suppliers, and our supplier sourcing team finds new ones.
Service components
5 components. Each one available on its own.
-
Adapting parts and assemblies for cost-efficient production.
-
Manufacturing processes, tools and fixtures with manufacturers.
Note: Prototypes, pre-series and series production are made by partners in our network. We manage the work.
-
Steering manufacturers through samples and approvals.

-
Pilot runs, approvals and stabilisation of series production.

-
Complete documentation and handover to production and suppliers.
What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.
- A design ready for manufacturing, with traceable changes and their cost impact.
- A process and tooling plan, agreed and scheduled with the manufacturers.
- Sampling reports and first article approvals for all critical parts.
- A ramp-up plan with pilot run, approval criteria and assigned responsibilities.
- Handover documentation that lets production and suppliers work independently.
When you need this. And how you'll know.
- The samples are convincing, but unit costs are far above target.
- You're switching manufacturers or moving production to another country.
- Start of production is approaching, and tools, approvals and suppliers aren't aligned.
- Your team has never brought a product into series production.
Rarely alone. Never bundled.
Industrialisation & Manufacturing Transfer often works together with these services. We'll tell you honestly when a combination makes sense, and when it doesn't.
Shows up in these initiatives.
You don't need a whole initiative to get Industrialisation & Manufacturing Transfer. These examples show where the service is often needed.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do you manufacture the series yourselves?
No. Production runs at manufacturers in our network or at your existing suppliers.
We prepare production and manage sampling and ramp-up. And we stay until the series runs smoothly and has been handed over.
Will you handle ongoing production planning afterwards?
Not as part of this service. Ongoing production planning and control belong to production planning & coordination, which can take over right after the ramp-up. That way nothing gets dropped.
Can you relocate an existing series?
Yes. A relocation is an industrialisation with a back story: review the documents, sample the new production, support the ramp-up.
It often reveals which documents are missing. We fill the gaps while the old production is still delivering.
Is tooling planning available on its own?
Yes. We then plan processes, tools and fixtures with your manufacturer and review the quotes before you order.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
