Sales Strategy & Setup
A sales function isn't hired. It's built.
Deciding whom to sell to, through which channels and with which process and organisation, and setting this up. The result is a documented sales model and a sales setup ready for operation.
Usual
What you often get
An experienced salesperson is hired to sort things out. Target group, process and materials are left for them to invent. Before long they leave, and everything they built leaves with them.
IntoOps
What you get from us
Decisions first, people second: target group, sales route and process are settled before anyone is hired. Our recruiting team finds the right people, with no extra agency needed. And the pay plan rewards what's good for the company, not just the quick deal.

Hiring plan, onboarding and ramp-up of new salespeople.
What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.
- A profile of your best customers, with criteria your team can apply every day.
- A decision paper on the sales route: direct, via partners or both, with trade-offs.
- A sales process mapped in your CRM, with clear rules for every step.
- A compensation plan with base pay, variable pay and rules for special cases.
- Role profiles and an onboarding plan that shows new people what matters.
- A sales handbook that keeps model, process and roles in one place.
When you need this. And how you'll know.
- Management has done the selling so far, and that's no longer enough.
- You're launching a product and don't have a sales team for it yet.
- You're starting in a new country and need sales built from scratch there.
- Salespeople come and go, and every time everything starts over.
- Your sales team has grown, but roles and territories were never reorganised.
Rarely alone. Never bundled.
Sales Strategy & Setup often works together with these services. We'll tell you honestly when a combination makes sense, and when it doesn't.
Shows up in these initiatives.
You don't need a whole initiative to get Sales Strategy & Setup. These examples show where the service is often needed.
- Project We want to start in Germany.
- Project We want to sell in other countries.
- Project We need a sales function that works.
- Project Our product is ready, now it has to sell.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do you also find the salespeople for us?
Yes. Our recruiting team searches for and assesses candidates against the roles we've defined together. We support onboarding until the new people can sell on their own.
They're employed by you.
Isn't the sales model a decision for management?
Yes, and that's where the decision stays. We prepare it with options, figures and the consequences of each route.
Then we build what has been decided.
Do we need a big sales team right away?
No. A sales function often starts small, with a few people and a clean process. The team then grows with demand, by plan rather than on a hunch.
Is it better to build sales in-house or outsource?
Both work, one after the other too. One option: you start with outsourced outbound sales and test target group and message. Then you build your own team, which starts from experience instead of assumptions.
What suits you depends on margin, how much explaining your offer needs, and pace.
Do you set up the CRM as well?
Yes. We define the process; our CRM systems specialists handle the technical setup. That way the system reflects how your team sells, not the other way round.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
