Finance Processes & Systems
A fast close doesn't need overtime. It needs a process.
Analysing and improving processes from purchase to pay, order to cash and record to report, and supporting them with suitable systems. The result is documented finance processes and finance tools in use.
Usual
What you often get
A systems house sells the new software, and the rollout follows the standard. The old processes simply move across, shadow spreadsheets and email approvals included. And for e-invoicing, there's a leaflet.
IntoOps
What you get from us
Process first, then software: we look at where documents get stuck and redesign the workflow. Our ERP & business systems team sets up the systems, not yet another vendor. And we support the rollout until the new process works in everyday use.
Service components
4 components. Each one available on its own.
-
Purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report processes.
-
Shorter, more reliable monthly and annual closing.
-
Accounting, expense and planning tools.
-
Receiving and sending e-invoices and automating finance steps.
What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.
- Process descriptions for purchasing, invoicing and closing, with roles and controls.
- A closing calendar with tasks, deadlines and responsibilities for every month-end close.
- A requirements specification and a traceable software selection with a scoring matrix.
- Finance software set up with interfaces, access rights and a trained team.
- Receiving and sending e-invoices, set up and connected to accounting.
- Automated steps such as document capture or payment matching, with documented logic.
When you need this. And how you'll know.
- Supplier invoices arrive as PDFs by email and get typed in by hand.
- Month-end drags on because documents and approvals have to be chased every time.
- E-invoicing obligations are taking effect, and your processes still revolve around PDFs and paper.
- For you, more revenue automatically means more manual work in accounting.
- Your finance software is no longer being developed, and a switch is due.
Rarely alone. Never bundled.
Finance Processes & Systems often works together with these services. We'll tell you honestly when a combination makes sense, and when it doesn't.
Shows up in these initiatives.
You don't need a whole initiative to get Finance Processes & Systems. These examples show where the service is often needed.
Good questions. Straight answers.
Do you recommend a particular finance software?
No, not across the board. The right software depends on size, existing systems and what your tax adviser needs. We evaluate the options transparently and give reasons for every recommendation.
Can you introduce just e-invoicing?
Yes. We set up receiving and sending, and adapt the processes that depend on it. Tax questions about invoicing obligations go to your tax adviser, with whom we coordinate.
Is a fast close only for large groups?
No. A close that runs the same way every month pays off for mid-sized companies too. The sooner the figures are in, the sooner you can act on them.
Is building the interfaces included?
Yes. Connections to bank, shop, ERP and tax adviser are part of the job, built with process automation. So you don't get a concept that someone else still has to implement.
Proof first. Contract second.
In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.
No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
