IT Strategy & Architecture

A roadmap without a budget is a wish list.

Analysing systems, costs and capabilities and deriving a target architecture and IT roadmap from business goals. The result is a documented IT strategy with roadmap, budget frame and governance rules.

Usual

What you often get

An assessment in traffic-light colours, a target picture full of arrows and a long list of projects. What comes first, what it costs and who delivers it stays open. And whoever sells software recommends their own surprisingly often.

IntoOps

What you get from us

The strategy is written by specialists who deliver ERP rollouts, cloud migrations and security projects themselves. So the roadmap only contains what can actually be delivered, with sequence and effort. And if you want, the same people start straight away on the first project.

Service components

5 components. Each one available on its own.

  1. IT assessment

  2. IT & digital strategy

  3. Enterprise architecture

  4. IT sourcing & vendor strategy

  5. IT governance & budget

What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.

  • An overview of all systems with costs, contracts, dependencies and risks.
  • A target picture of the system landscape, showing which application does which job.
  • A roadmap with sequence, effort and budget frame for every project.
  • A reasoned decision for each system: run in-house, move to the cloud or outsource.
  • Rules on who decides about IT spending and new software.

When you need this. And how you'll know.

  • Every department buys its own software, and nobody knows what IT costs in total.
  • New ERP, cloud move, more security: several big decisions are due at once.
  • After an acquisition, two system landscapes run side by side.
  • A major IT contract is ending, and you want to know what you really need.

Rarely alone. Never bundled.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Isn't an IT strategy too big for us?

Not if it's sized to fit. For a manageable landscape, an assessment and a clear roadmap are enough. Architecture models and rulebooks only come in if you need them.

Will you also assess our current IT provider?

Yes, as part of the assessment or on its own. We look at performance, costs and contracts and compare them with what you need. The result may well be that everything stays as it is.

Is IT security part of the strategy?

Yes. The assessment shows where the risks are and what's missing. Our cybersecurity team then implements the measures, in the order set by the roadmap.

Can you lead our IT until we hire someone?

Yes, through interim management. An experienced executive steers IT, delivers the roadmap and hands over to the new head of IT.

This runs under a service or work contract in which we steer the work and take responsibility for it. We do not hire out staff.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
