Market Development

In a new market, nobody knows you. Start right there.

Prioritising target markets and segments, defining the entry approach and carrying out the first steps into the market. The result is a market entry plan and documented progress towards first customers.

Usual

What you often get

The website gets translated, the trade fair stand booked, the price list stays the same. First conversations stall for lack of local references. A year later the attempt is quietly dropped, and nobody really knows why.

IntoOps

What you get from us

The people who write the plan also hold the first conversations in the market. After each stage you decide whether to continue, based on figures rather than gut feeling. If you need a local entity, we coordinate the company formation as well.

Service components

5 components. Each one available on its own.

  1. Market & segment prioritisation

  2. Market entry strategy

  3. Offer localisation

  4. Market access & networks

  5. Pilot customers & market test

What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.

  • A reasoned ranking of target markets or segments, with criteria and data.
  • A market entry plan with stages, budget, responsibilities and decision points.
  • Offer, pricing logic and sales materials adapted to the target market's language and buying habits.
  • A list of first contacts from associations, chambers and networks, with the status of each.
  • A documented market test with pilot projects, feedback and a recommended next step.

When you need this. And how you'll know.

  • Your home market is saturated, and you don't know which country fits next.
  • Competitors are already active in your target market, and you don't want to keep planning.
  • Enquiries from abroad are coming in, but nobody follows them up systematically.
  • You've decided to enter a market and need someone to make it happen locally.
  • A first attempt abroad fizzled out, and you want to understand why.

Rarely alone. Never bundled.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do you come with us into the target market?

Yes, where it's needed. First conversations, meetings with associations or chambers and trade fair appearances are handled by us, alone or with you. A market can be planned from a distance, but not opened.

Can a market test work without a big plan?

Yes, and it's often the better start. A few pilot projects show faster than any study whether your offer lands in the market. How the test is measured and what gets decided afterwards is set in advance.

Is it enough to translate our materials?

Rarely. A translation doesn't make a local offer. We check prices, terms, materials and arguments against how the target market buys, and change what won't work there.

Are first orders in the new market certain?

No. Orders are placed by customers in the market, not by us. What's in our hands is a plan with clear stages, clean execution and honest progress reports.

If it turns out that a market won't carry your business, we'll tell you before more money goes in.

Are local sales partners a must?

Not in every market. Some markets are best opened directly, others through partners or commercial agents. We decide that with you in the entry strategy.

If partners are needed, we find and sign them through channel & distribution development.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
