Business Opportunity Development

Workshops love every idea. Markets don't.

Identifying new business opportunities, developing them into concrete offers and testing them with real customers. The result is a validated opportunity with business case and recommendation to proceed or stop.

Usual

What you often get

An innovation workshop with lots of sticky notes and a presentation at the end. Then either big money goes in before anyone has checked demand. Or the idea disappears in the next budget round.

IntoOps

What you get from us

Before any big investment, the idea has to convince real customers, ideally with a first order. The business case comes from our financial modelling specialists, with assumptions you can check. And stopping early counts as a good result.

Service components

5 components. Each one available on its own.

  1. Opportunity scouting

  2. Opportunity validation

  3. Offer development

  4. Business case

  5. Acquisition & investment target screening

What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.

  • A rated list of new opportunities with customer group, need and rough size.
  • Validation records from interviews, pilot projects or pre-sales, with a clear analysis.
  • A draft offer with scope, pricing logic and target group, ready for first sales conversations.
  • A business case with scenarios and openly stated assumptions.
  • Profiles of possible acquisition or investment targets, if outside growth is an option.

When you need this. And how you'll know.

  • Your core business is running but no longer growing, and you need new pillars.
  • Ideas for new offers circulate in the team, but nobody has time to test them.
  • Your customers keep asking for something you don't offer yet.
  • You're considering buying or investing in a company and are looking for suitable targets.
  • An investment in a new field is coming up, and you want evidence first.

Rarely alone. Never bundled.

Shows up in these initiatives.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do you also test ideas we already have?

Yes. Then we skip the search and go straight to validation. Often a handful of conversations shows whether the next step is worth it.

Does a positive business case mean it will work?

No. A business case shows under which assumptions an opportunity pays off. Only the market shows whether they hold.

So we name the critical assumptions and tell you how to test them early.

Do you look for companies to acquire?

Yes. We find and profile possible acquisition and investment targets as a basis for your decision. Assessing a target belongs to business analysis.

Financial and legal reviews are carried out by audit firms and law firms, which we appoint on your behalf.

Can we get just the business case?

Yes. Without tested demand, though, a business case is built on sand.

In that case we tell you which assumption is shakiest and how to test it quickly.

Do you stay on if the idea holds up?

Yes, beyond the test as well. A confirmed opportunity becomes an offer that has to be sold. Our sales team takes that on, or we hand over to yours.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
