Supplier Management

Suppliers deliver what you measure. The rest, they explain.

Evaluating supplier performance, agreeing improvements and managing supplier relationships and contract terms. The result is supplier scorecards, regular reviews and documented improvement actions.

Usual

What you often get

Suppliers get selected once and then only called when something goes wrong. A rating exists on paper but has no consequences. And the agreed terms sit in a contract nobody can find any more.

IntoOps

What you get from us

Ratings are based on data from goods receipt, quality inspection and invoices. Important suppliers get regular reviews and joint improvement projects; all get a clear escalation path. Quality problems go straight to quality management instead of coming back with the next delivery.

Service components

5 components. Where a licence is required, we coordinate.

  1. Supplier segmentation

  2. Supplier performance management

  3. Supplier development

  4. Supplier contracts & conditions

  5. Supplier escalation

What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.

  • A split into strategic, important and replaceable suppliers, each with a rationale.
  • A supplier rating based on real data, updated regularly and discussed with suppliers.
  • Minuted reviews with agreed actions, owners and deadlines.
  • An overview of contract terms with durations, price adjustments and notice periods.
  • An escalation path for delivery and quality problems, with stages and contacts.

When you need this. And how you'll know.

  • Deliveries arrive late or incomplete, and every call just brings new promises.
  • You don't know which suppliers really matter and which just cost a lot.
  • A supplier raises prices, and nobody knows the contract terms.
  • Quality problems keep recurring because nobody follows up after the complaint.
  • An important supplier needs to grow with you but needs support to do so.

Rarely alone. Never bundled.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Are supply contracts part of this too?

Commercially yes, legally no. We negotiate terms, prices and commercial changes. Legal drafting and review are handled by a law firm that we appoint on your behalf and coordinate.

Do you talk to our suppliers directly?

Yes, on your behalf and in agreement with you. We hold reviews, follow up on problems and escalate according to agreed rules. The relationship stays yours; we keep it moving.

Is this worth it if we have few alternatives?

Yes, especially then. If you can't switch, you have to develop: shared goals, improvement projects, early warning signs. In parallel, supply chain risk & resilience checks whether a second source can be built up.

Do you rate all suppliers with the same effort?

No. Important suppliers get scorecards, reviews and development projects. For replaceable ones, a lean rating from data you already have is enough.

That keeps the effort where it pays off.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
