Strategy Consulting

Strategy means choosing. Above all, what to leave out.

Analysing the company's position and options and developing a strategy management can decide on and implement. The result is a documented strategy with goals, priorities and roadmap.

Usual

What you often get

An offsite at a hotel, then a paper with a vision, a mission and a dozen priorities. Because everything matters, day-to-day business ends up deciding again. A year later, the next offsite comes round.

IntoOps

What you get from us

A few priorities, a roadmap and numbers that fit together. The strategy is calculated in a financial model, not with wishful curves. And if you want, we stay for the implementation instead of handing over a paper.

Service components

5 components. Each one available on its own.

  1. Strategic analysis

  2. Corporate strategy

  3. Growth & portfolio strategy

  4. Strategic roadmap

  5. Goal systems & OKR

What you'll have at the end. Results you can check.

  • An analysis of your starting position, backed by figures and sources.
  • A written strategy with goals, priorities and a list of what you deliberately won't do.
  • A budgeted roadmap showing what starts when and what gets dropped for it.
  • Measurable goals for departments and teams, as OKRs if you like, with fixed review dates.
  • A presentation of the strategy for shareholders, advisory board or bank, aligned with the roadmap.

When you need this. And how you'll know.

  • Everyone works hard, but each department pulls in a different direction.
  • You have more opportunities than money and people, and need to decide which to pursue.
  • Your market is shifting, and yesterday's recipe for success is running out of steam.
  • Your advisory board asks for the strategy, but it only exists in your head.
  • The last strategy sits in a folder and plays no part in decisions.

Rarely alone. Never bundled.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do you develop the strategy without us?

No. The strategy is developed with your leadership team, not for it.

We bring analysis, structure and uncomfortable questions. The decisions are yours, because your company has to implement them.

Can you turn an existing strategy into a roadmap?

Yes. It becomes a set of initiatives with sequence and owners. If foundations are missing, we tell you before we plan.

Do you also support implementing the strategy?

Yes. We steer the roadmap, take on individual initiatives ourselves or just review progress with you regularly. For large programmes, project & programme management comes in.

Do you work with OKRs?

Yes, where they fit. OKRs are a tool, not a mandatory programme. Many companies do fine with a few clear goals per department and a fixed date to review them.

Proof first. Contract second.

In the free Initiative Check, we listen for 45 minutes and ask the questions that usually only come up after the contract is signed. Then you get a short written assessment: what we see, how we would go about it and roughly what it would take.

No obligation. And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
